Reservation policy: To reserve your vacation a 50% deposit is taken at the time of reservation. Payment can be made via check or credit card. If paid via check, your remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If paid via credit card, your remaining balance is charge to your credit card approximately 1 week prior to your arrival on the island.

Cancellation policy:  In the event you need to cancel your reservation 90 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit is fully refunded minus the credit card processing fee.  If you choose to cancel less than 90 days prior to your arrival, your deposit will be refunded if your reservation dates can be fully re-booked.  If we are unable to re-book your dates, your deposit can be applied to a future stay at Portugal Kai within one year of your original reservation dates.  Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. 

Travel insurance is suggested for unforeseen complications.
